On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, WOTM members and guests gathered at Tuckahoe Richmond Lodge 1163 for the 1st Districts 8 & 9 Roper Romp. Sharing a delicious meal, enjoying lively music and sharing ideas and fun ways to help WOTM membership growth. 5 Chapters were present with over 40 participants. This monthly event will bounce between lodges in Districts 8 & 9. $65 was raised and donated to the Lodge towards their endowment as a thank you for being a spectacular host.
7th Annual VMA Heart of the Community Chili Cook Off Held at Lynchburg South Lodge. 12 chili cook teams participated (9 districts, 3 Moose Legions and 1 Chapter were represented). 9 vendors were present along with 64 classic vehicles in our car show. Total donations in 2025 to paws4people from the Virginia Moose Association units totaled $85,790.

Congrats to students chosen to represent the Virginia Moose Association at the 2024 Moose International Student Congress held in Roanoke, Virginia and special thanks to all the Volunteers and VMA Youth Awareness Team for their efforts and outstanding job of hosting the congress.
Bedford Moose 1897 held a breakfast on Memorial Day (5-27-24) to honor our Bedford Moose Veterans. The veterans were treated to a buffet breakfast and afterwards proceeded to the flagpole to lower the flag to half mast in honor of Memorial Day. Submitted by: Cynthia (Cindy) Dooley

VMA President Wakefield Foster was surprised by dozens of Moose members wearing a "Wakefield Says, Moose Business" tshirt with his picture on it at the VMA 2024 Mid Year Conference. The proceeds from the shirt sales will go to a charity of the President's choice.
New officers of NVCHD who were installed at the banquet held in Luray on Sunday, December 17. The officers installed were, left to right: Chaplain Teresa Judd, Treasure Cynthia Millard, Vice President Beverly Rumpf, and Past President Jackie Pitkin.
